Fairsing Vineyard is planted to 38 acres at 550-750 feet above sea level in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. The vineyard is nestled inside an 80-acre Certified FamilyForest with varied topography and panoramic views of the Northern Willamette Valley.
The Temperance Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir is exciting and lively. The nose is bursting with aromas of bramble berry, dark black plum, and cedar. As you sip, the wine dances on your palate with a complex blend of earthy, fruity, and savory notes. Fine tannins provide lift to the mid-palate, while bright acidity creates tension, driving the wine to a long finish that leaves you wanting more.
In the glass, the wine is a beautiful shade of garnet. Bright strawberry, red plums, fennel, and bramble fill your nose and tempt your senses. On the palate, delightful flavors of pomegranate, candied orange and currants abound. Beautifully integrated tannins mingle with bright acidity, leading to a lengthy finish that leaves you wanting more. An elegant wine that is extremely age worthy.
